In 1960, Professor S. Cohen of the School of Medicine at Vanderbit University in the United States discovered EGF epidermal growth factorwhen he separated and purified NGF.
Epidermai GF, also known as Humanoligopeptide-1, is an important growth factor. It exists in tissues and body fluids and is a type of growth factor secreted by humans.
Its structure has three disulfide bonds and is a polypeptide containing 53 amino acid residues.
EGF has excellent biological activity and function and is a medical ingredient. If abused, it can lead to excessive tissue growth.
