                  Feature

                  o-Hydroxybenzoic acid, with a molecular formula of C7H6O3, has a structure of A benzene ring with a hydroxyl group (-OH) in the ortho position (adjacent to) and a carboxylic acid group (-COOH).
                  It is a β-hydroxy acid extracted from poplar bark, willow bark, etc., and is a simple phenolic compound.
                  Salicylic acid is known for its anti-inflammatory effects, and also has the effects of regulating keratin, controlling oil, antibacterial, and whitening.

                  Function and Application

                  1. It is internationally recognized that salicylic acid with a concentration of 0.55% to 2% can be used to treat common acne. Currently, most mainstream acne treatment products contain salicylic acid.
                  2. Low concentrations of salicylic acid (0.3%) have antibacterial effects.
                  3. Salicylic acid below 3% can be used as a keratin promoter. Salicylic acid can accelerate the shedding of stratum corneum cells and make the sebaceous glands secrete smoothly.
                  4. Improve keratinization of hair follicles.
                  5. Anti-inflammatory effect. Specifically, it achieves anti-inflammatory purposes by inhibiting inflammatory factors and reducing the release of inflammatory factors such as thromboxane and leukotrienes.
                  6. Aspirin is a derivative of salicylic acid.
