Stachydrine hydrochloride is a natural alkaloid derivative commonly found in motherwort or other plants. This product can be extracted from the fresh or dried aerial parts of motherwort Leonurus japonicus Houtt.
Its structure contains a pyrrolidine ring with carboxyl and methyl groups. It is the hydrochloride of stachydrine, a pyrrolidine alkaloid.
The appearance of 5% specification is brown powder, and the appearance of 98% specification is white powder. It is easily soluble in water and alcohol, insoluble in ether and chloroform. It is stable in nature, resistant to high temperature, acid and alkali, and easy to absorb moisture.
