Glucomannan powder is a polysaccharide made of glucose and mannose in a ratio of 1:1.6. It is a soluble dietary fiber extracted from the roots and tubers of konjac and is a water-soluble polysaccharide. The health benefits of this product include anti-diabetic, laxative, anti-obesity and anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol-lowering.
It is used as a dietary supplement ingredient mainly to support urinary tract health and can be used with cranberry extract or probiotic formulas.
