Ginseng extract is extracted and refined from roots, stems and leaves, also known as ginsenosides from ginseng stems and leaves. It is rich in 18 main ginsenosides. Ginsenoside is one of the main active ingredients and is easily soluble in ethanol. The appearance varies in color depending on the content, and is a yellow-white, light yellow to brown powder.
According to the RF value on thin layer chromatography, it is divided into more than 20 monomers such as Ra, Rb, Rf, Rg, etc. The 6 most important monomer saponins are Rg1, Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Rc, Rd and Re.
