Rhodiola rosea extract is extracted and refined from the dried roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola crenulata H. Ohba.
The main health-care ingredients of Rhodiola rosea are salidroside, tyrosol, flavonoids, phenols, volatile oils, and polysaccharides. Among them, rosavins and salidrosides are the main active ingredients.

Function

1. In vitro evaluation shows that Rhodiola extract can help the skin achieve anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects by promoting fibroblast proliferation and enhancing cell regeneration. Fibroblasts are involved in the production of collagen and elastin in the dermis.
2. Salidroside is a natural antioxidant that can scavenge reactive oxygen free radicals (ROS). It improves the antioxidant function of the skin by activating intracellular antioxidant enzyme systems such as SOD and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px).
3. In vitro evaluation found that salidroside can resist UV damage, effectively reduce UVA light damage to fibroblasts, and play a role in resisting photoaging.
   It can also reduce the inflammatory response caused by ultraviolet rays. And repair damaged skin cells, promote skin regeneration and repair.
4. The whitening mechanism of salidroside is reflected in two aspects:
