Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endogenous fatty acid amide that occurs naturally in human tissues. Clinical studies have shown that PEA has anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. PEA can regulate many physiological processes, such as inhibiting chronic pain and neurotoxicity. It is often used as a pharmaceutical intermediate in laboratory research and development and chemical pharmaceutical research and development.
