    Function and Application

    1. Improve cardiac function. Epidemiological data suggest that KAE is beneficial for cardiovascular disease and may reduce the risk of acute myocardial infarction.
    2. Protect nerves. It may protect neurons from damage and may play a role in neurodegenerative diseases.
    3. Antioxidant. On the one hand, it regulates NF-κB, MAPK and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways. On the other hand, it achieves antioxidant effects by promoting the expression of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase.
    4. Hypoglycemic effect. This is due to the stimulation of SkM for glucose uptake.
